Klay's Matcha 2026

Matcha is a Vanilla+ datapack that provides alternatives to mob farming.

1. Send a message to Klay (on discord, matrix, etc) with your desired login information.
   • name of your minecraft account, e.g. “nycki93”
   • email, so i can create a wiki account for you. i don't have a real email server running so this can be fake, e.g. “strongbad@website.egg”
2. If you haven't already, install Prism Launcher.
3. Create an instance running Minecraft 26.2 with Fabric Loader.
4. Launch that instance and connect to the server mc.hatspace.net.

This is a vanilla-compatible pack, so all mods are optional. However, I recommend Ears and Signed Paintings at a minimum. Jade and Mouse Wheelie are also some nice minimal quality-of-life mods. You are allowed to install any other mods you want.

To install mods, select the Minecraft instance in Prism, and go to Edit → Mods → Download Mods.

this mod adds additional layers to the player skin for ears and a tail and other furry stuff. I'll be using this and I highly recommend it. You can find more options for creating an Ears skin at NickAcPT 's Ears Manipulator.

allows you to post images on signs and view them. I'll be using this wiki as my image host. When you first join, you might see a sign with a bunch of tiny vertical lines like ill1li, right-click on it and accept the wiki.hatspace.net domain.

this mod tells you what you're looking at!

this mod allows you to move items around more quickly by scrolling the mouse wheel. You can also click the mouse wheel to auto-sort a chest (but see rule 4).
